Roles & Responsibilities
This Associate QA Engineer Job in Bangalore requires strong automation and API testing experience.
You will:
- Design and maintain automated test frameworks using Java and TypeScript
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and API testing
- Validate REST APIs and ensure compliance with HTTP standards
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions
- Collaborate with developers and product managers in Agile environments
- Track defects using Jira and Confluence
- Improve automation coverage and QA processes
Mandatory Skills
- 3–4 years of experience as a Software QA Engineer
- Strong programming skills in Java and TypeScript
- Ability to solve coding problems (String Manipulation & DSA)
- Hands-on experience with Playwright
- Strong understanding of REST APIs and HTTP protocols
- Experience with Jenkins and GitHub Actions
- Familiarity with Agile SDLC
- Strong communication skills
Good to Have Skills
- Experience in NGS or bioinformatics software
- Exposure to performance or security testing
