Job Objective
As part of SAP PP QM Consultant , you will be responsible for optimizing manufacturing operations using SAP solutions. The role focuses on seamless integration of SAP PP, QM modules to enhance production efficiency, improve product quality, and reduce operational risks.
You will collaborate with production, quality to deliver standardized and scalable SAP S/4HANA solutions, ensuring system-driven decision-making and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and support SAP PP (Production Planning) including MRP, production orders, routings, work centers, and capacity planning
- Implement and maintain SAP QM (Quality Management) processes such as inspections, notifications, and quality control procedures
- Deliver high-quality solutions as an experienced SAP PP Consultant in manufacturing environments
- Ensure integration of PP, QM, with SAP S/4HANA and other modules like PM, MM, SD, and FI
- Work closely with business, production, and quality teams to gather requirements and prepare functional specifications (FSDs)
- Coordinate with technical teams for enhancements, developments, and issue resolution
- Perform system configuration, testing, data validation, and troubleshooting
- Resolve SAP-related production and quality issues to maintain business continuity
- Participate in SAP implementation, rollout, and upgrade projects
- Conduct end-user training, documentation, and post go-live support
- Drive continuous improvement in manufacturing efficiency and quality outcome
